Interests: trying to figure out what God wants me to do, acting like an idiot in front of large groups of people, entertaining children with strange facial expressions, tooling around Europe for 11 days, singing like a maniac, drama-type stuff, attempting to find the best possible job EVER, anything artsy, eating large amounts of cookie dough and/or chocolate, and ENJOYING LIFE! | Howdy. In case you were curious, my life looks like this now: Married to the Jeremy, am still quite excited about that fact. Live in the western Minneapolis-type area in a condo. I wish to own a furry pet of some sort and am trying to convince the condo association of the goodness of this idea, having little success. Work as an Independent Living Skills Counselor at a homeless teen shelter...craziness but totally LOVE IT! Seeking to be a grad school student and have my work pay for it...am currently in grad school limbo...not a fan. Attend The Rock church in uptown. Not very CRC but I still dig it. I'm pseudo in charge of childcare and I sing for house church (house church is one of the things that makes it so sweet...very new testamenty). Planning on going to El Paso around April to go tell people about Jesus...we'll see how that goes.

| sorry about that. the good news: I've been married for a month and it's awesome! Therefore, I haven't talked to a lot of people. the not so good news: my cell phone got stolen by one of my kid's 2 days ago, so I can't talk to most people. the good news: I don't have to plan a wedding anymore! the not so good news: I now have a craptastic schedule at work (i.e. nights and weekends) because of the days off I needed for the wedding planning.
the not so good news: Jeremy's car is finally calling it quits, so we only have one car and one phone at the moment. the good news: Jeremy's insanely generous boss has offered to give him a company car and phone!!! HUZZAH! God is cool like that. Someday I'll have wedding pictures...I promise.
UPDATE: THE CELL PHONE WAS GIVEN BACK!!! GUILT: IT DOES A BODY GOOD!!

| I'm getting married in a week. A WEEK! So excited but so much stress, OY!

| It was a bike, and it was a crappy bike, but I had it since I was in 5th grade, and when it was sold at a garage sale, I cried. It wasn't all bike related mind you, that's what started it. Maybe some of the ladies out there can sympathize, but you know when something sets you off and then you start to cry about crazy things that aren't really related. You know, the " ....and one time, in third grade, I pushed my sister down the stairs, AND I BLAMED IT ON THE DOG!" stuff. I felt totally silly. However Jeremy and I went on a legitimate bike ride with a decent bike later that evening, and despite an impressive soreness in my rump today it was quite good. Well, my parents come to visit tomorrow so we can really crack open the wedding cabana. Oy. Pray that I form opinions because I think I've reached the point where I JUST DON'T CARE! However, after what will probably be a horrendous bedtime for the girls tonight, I only have one more day at work and then it's the weekend or getting stuff done and hanging out with my parents....good. Plus, after this weekend, on my NEXT weekend I get to go on a road trip to Montana with some dandy people to go see some other dandy people get married. Very good. | | |
